  • Twin ATI Radeon 4870X2 2GB RAM on-board

Lenovo Creates a Laptop that eats other Laptops...well not really

Introducing the Lenovo ThinkPad w700, a 17 inch laptop with an enourmous amount of specs:
  • LCD: WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 400 nit, auto color calibration sensor that lets you adjust display settings with dual DVI and VGA port.
  • Hard Drive: Supports dual hard drive bays in RAID 0 or 1 at 320GB
  • An LED light above the screen, pointing down to light the keyboard
  • GPU: Nvidia Quadro FX 3700 with 1GB dedicated memory
  • Touchpad with ThinkPad's famous Trackpoint red nubbin
  • CPU: 3.0GHz Core 2 Extreme Quad Core
  • Wacom Tablet: 120 x 80cm built in
  • Webcam: SXGA (1280 x 1024)
  • RAM: Up to 8GB of DDR3
  • Multi 7 in 1 card reader
  • Optional Blu-Ray drive
  • Full-size keyboard
  • 5 USB ports
  • Bluetooth
  • 8-lbs
My only critique of this monster is that it doesn't have an HDMI port and if the Bluetooth was 2.0 or 2.1 or EDR?, other than that, this laptop is incredible; It is a gaming, graphic, entertainment, and photographer laptop.

Microsoft denies the rumors but I don't think they want anyone to know about their secret attack. They shouldn't waste their time though, Sony already has the Blu-Ray market pegged, as makers of their own Blu-Ray players they can make their console cheaper with the new tech. Microsoft will have to mark up and they shouldn't risk their price advantage against Sony. They already reported such a huge profit in the first quarter, they are going to go backwards and probably upset those who have already bought 360's with no Blu-Ray.

But hey, if it's a rumor then I'm just wasting my time typing this...
